All IR meetings are held at the VA Hospital E. 23rd St. and 1st Ave.
at 6:30pm. The room # will be emailed to all IR’s prior to the meeting.

AL-ANON ANNUAL BEACH MEETING
SPEAKERS AND OPEN SHARES

SUNDAY - SEPT 19TH 2010 at 10:00AM   (rain date 9/25/10 Saturday)

LOCATION: Gateway National Recreational Area - Jacob Riis Park ** Gate 3 which is the opposite side from previous beach mtgs. Gate 3 is on your LEFT when facing the Bathhouse/ beach - south. 

Light breakfast will be served.  Bring your own chair/towel, sunglasses and suntan lotion. 

Directions:  To Jacob Riis Park
Auto:   Belt Parkway to Exist 11S (Flatbush Ave South).  Continue South over Marine Park Bridge.  Exit Left… Follow Signs to Jacob Riis Park.
                         Woodhaven Boulevard/Cross Bay Boulevard to Cross Bay Bridge.  Exit Right (Riis Park).  Go straight to Beach 116th Street and turn Left.  At 2nd Traffic Light turn    Right onto Rockaway Beach Boulevard…go approximately 1 mile to Park.

Subway & Bus:  IRT 2 to Flatbush Avenue…Q 35 bus to Flatbush corner Nostrand, Kings Highway or Avenue U to Park
IND A or S to Rockaway Park … Q22 or Q35 bus to Park or Q21 or Q53 to Beach 116th Street, Rockaway Park…Q22 to Park.
Continue:  Beach Meeting will be held at Gate 3 (On your left when facing the bath house/beach-south). Park in the small parking lot, on your right when you enter the parking lot.  After parking walk to the Left entrance straight across to path leading to the beach.

Monday September 20 at 7pm meeting for District 21 (all meetings on the Upper West Side to the western tip of Manhattan) will be at the Unitarian Universalist Church at 76th St. and Central Park Weston The entrance is at 4 West 76th Street. All are welcome.
